“A story of nature, friendship, and creativity!”

The book “A forest for Everyone” is a fully illustrated story about nature and the environment. This book marked my first experience as both the writer and illustrator. The images are designed so that children can grasp the storyline by examining the detailed visuals on each page.
Techniques Used:
The origami pieces are all hand-painted, and the entire scene is assembled with intricate details, reminiscent of stop-motion animation.
Moreover, professional photography and lighting have made the images look very realistic to children, helping them better understand the characters’ emotions. This style of illustration is highly effective for children, as it fosters creativity, visual perception, and storytelling skills. Many teachers use this book for group projects and teaching nature to kids.
A distinct feature of this book is the innovative use of origami art, crafted by
Mr. Alireza Alaeddini, one of the best origami artists.

Alireza Alaeddini, Origami Designer and Creator
I started my study of Origami in 1994. The culmination of my 30 years of experience with this art form is the design and creation of the characters in this book. The Origami characters which appear in this book are a deer, a bear, a squirrel, a beaver, a woodpecker, acorns, leaves, the moon, the sun, clouds, flowers, thunder and lightning, an axe, boots, a hat and a car.
The final choice of design of each character was made after much study on the many kinds of patterns. We made samples of each one of them and compared them side by side until their simplicity and complexity were reconciled. Then with attention to the type of paper and color combination of each character, the Origami was done and faces were painted on each one. The characters were designed with respect to the atmosphere and space of each scene. Any design changes that were made, were for the purpose of enhancing a particular scene or to depict the special feeling and atmosphere of that scene. This book was created through the harmonious placement of Origami characters in special scenes and settings to complement one another.
Behdad Shirmohammadi, Photographer
Sculpting was the first art form I learned during childhood. Since 1990, I have been working as a scene photographer in theatrical and musical settings.
Through the years, my camera has taken me to many places: the mountains, the plains, the oceans and this time, to A Forest for Everyone. It is a new experience for me. It is the result of the culmination of various experiences and techniques to create a paper forum through the technique of Origami in various and numerous characters in special intricate settings
